Margarett Wilson, MD, MPH, Co-founder, serves as the Preventive Health Consultant and Business Coordinator for The Metro Atlanta Urban Farm. She has worked in the past with Fulton County Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State Department of Health, Emory University School of Medicine and Morehouse School of Medicine.
She speaks at numerous Churches, schools, community forums and worksites on Cancer prevention, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes and other health related issues. Dr. Wilson has helped to write preventive health initiatives for employees of Grady Health System to encourage healthy lifestyles, exercise, healthier eating habits and was featured in the Carter Center publication HEALTHY PEOPLE 2000, on How to Develop a Health and Wellness Program Within Churches.
