What We OfferMetro Atlanta Urban Farm is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to agricultural training for anyone willing to learn. Our programs build the next generation of urban farmers, make healthy eating accessible to families, and support grassroots food systems that fight food insecurity in College Park, East Point and the surrounding communities.
Two community festivals a year, centered on an agricultural or environmental theme, with workshops on planting and cooking fresh produce alongside vendors, food and live music. Check our calendar for the next date, or contact us to volunteer, vend or sponsor.
A free monthly leadership training program for community gardeners across metro Atlanta, covering gardening skills, community activism and outreach to neighbors experiencing homelessness.
A volunteer committee of College Park and East Point residents who help MAUF identify food-access needs, build grassroots solutions, and organize community engagement events.
Taught by our USDA-certified food processors, these classes teach small groups of 5 to 10 people how to turn fresh farm produce into a value-added product for sale.
Nutrition classes covering health issues such as obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure, how to prepare locally grown produce, and where to find it.
In partnership with the Federation of Southern Cooperatives, we host workshops that help socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers understand and apply for USDA programs and benefits.
Offered to individuals and groups, teaching participants how to grow their own fresh vegetables on small plots of land.
Custom-designed farm tours for schools, groups and organizations, pairing an agricultural lesson and activity with a walk of the farm.
Our community garden sits on three-quarters of an acre with 30 plots, available to rent for individuals and organizations in our community.
Rent the farm, inside and out, for corporate events, family reunions, baby showers, parties and more.
Our farm staff install gardens and prepare land for farming at churches, schools, organizations and homes.
We donate fresh produce and fruits to local homeless shelters, and partner with organizations and restaurants for frequent produce delivery.
During the growing season, we sell at weekly farmers markets with the Georgia WIC Nutrition Program and local cities, plus our own on-farm market, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Contact Us Our Newest ProgramA citizen-science partnership between Metro Atlanta Urban Farm and The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, researching how noise pollution affects the health and hearing of farmers in underserved and marginalized communities.

For the past six years, MAUF has taken part in ongoing national research with The Cornell Lab of Ornithology. The first phase produced two co-created manuals on building community capacity through effective partnerships, led by the Cornell Lab and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). MAUF’s Bobby Wilson is one of four national co-principal investigators on the project, each representing a historically marginalized or underserved community.
Through this collaboration, MAUF expanded its partnership with Tri-Cities High School, giving students a unique opportunity to take part as community science collaborators. MAUF continues to engage Tri-Cities students in S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. research on the negative health effects that noise pollution has on farmers in underserved and marginalized communities — specifically how to reduce the impact of noise from farm equipment and the long-term risk of hearing loss. Their findings have opened doors to careers in agricultural engineering.
